Visit the famous Franciscan monastery in Kraljeva Sutjeska, the remains of summer residence of Bosnian kings and queens, the first mosque on these parts of Bosnia which was, as the legend says, built by Sultan Mehmed el-Fatih after conquering Bosnian capital Bobovac. The monastery in Kraljeva Sutjeska is often named "the guardian of Bosnian history and vault of Bosnian culture”. The monastery was built in the middle of 14th century, through its long history it suffered couple of hazards and today’s appearance originates from the year of 1890.

If you want to behold the beauty of Bosnian mountains then you should visit the village of Lukomir and village of Umoljani. There you will see that there is still a place where people live their life by the rules of nature in the same way as our ancestors lived hundreds of years ago. The men and women of these small villages on mt. Bjelasnica live the life of their ancestors and use only what they by themselves produce in their gardens and houses. There is an old story that goes; when Slavic tribes inhabited these places they named the village of Lukomir connecting two Slavic words valley and peace. If you visit this beautiful gorstac village you will realize why the old bogumils named it "the valley of peace".


 

Middle part of Bijambare is karts enclave with all its characteristics, caves, lost rivers, funnel/shaped depressions, rocky massifs and lakes. On relatively small place you an find five caves spreading in three horizons, one of them being famous for a long time so called main or Bijambare cave, tour of which is real attraction. Length of the cave is 420 meters, it has four halls with rich cave ornaments of all known creation forms. Very next to the cave, a mountain hut “Bijambare” is located opened during the whole year.


 

Visit the city granted by the moon of its own - the old bridge over the emerald river Neretva. The cultural centre of Herzegovina, Mostar, is a city of oriental-mediterenian architecture that will impress you for certain. Mostar is one of oldest cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. At first there were two forts, on opposite sides of Neretva river, connected with a wooden bridge. With the years that came, after the Turks conquered Bosnia, Mostar grown and became the true centre of Herzegovina. In those years the world famous Old bridge was built. But Mostar is known by other things also and not only by its Old bridge - that some call "the moon over Neretva river".


 

Pocitelj is an old fortified town over Neretva river that will for certain impress you with its old oriental-mediterenian architecture and number of cultural historical monuments. Pocitelj is often called "the guardian above Neretva river"

Mogorjelo is a monument of late antique architecture, where the remains of villa Rustica, from roman period, have been found. Now you also can visit the summer resort of roman imperators.

The waterfall of Kravice is an unique masterpiece of nature, the biggest and one of most beautiful waterfalls in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The true oasis of nature that can be found in the world that we live in today. The waterfall of Kravice is a must see.

Hutovo blato is one of most beautiful reserves of nature in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Hutovo blato, covering the space of 3728 hectares, is a part of the swamp area of the downer course of Neretva river. Hutovo blato is also the biggest bird reserve on these places of world.


 

For a long time this was the capital of Ottoman Bosnia and Herzegovina - the vizier’s city. Today it is a city where you can find on almost every corner a building of cultural historical importance. Travnik is also one of the most conserved cities in the region of middle Bosnia, and is well known by number of mosques and other buildings built in ottoman times. Travnik is also the birth city of Nobel prized winner Ivo Andric ("the bridge of Drina river") and his house can also be visited when you come to Travnik. By historical documents Travnik was also the first diplomatic centre of Bosnia, where in 1807th and 1808th France and Austria opened their consulates. Travnik is inheritage of viziers.


 

Once the capital of Bosnia and the city of kings and queens. Jajce will certainly impress you with its glorious history with a number of historical important buildings and off course with the Pliva waterfall. Jajce is the world’s only city built on top of a waterfall. This city is also known as one of the most conserved cities in Bosnia and plus it is the 1st city in number of monuments protected by state. The lake of Pliva, which can be found near Jajce, offers amazing possibilities for water sports. The forts of Jajce and its Citadel, the catacombs - which are unique monument of that kind on Balkan peninsula, the temple of roman god Mithras, number of mosques, the remains of medieval churches of St. Luka and st. Katarina, the complex of traditional Bosnian houses, Vinac and Crepoljski fort - which together with the Citadel of Jajce form an unique fortification system are surely worth of your visit.


 

Once this was the centre of gold industry and gold diggers, today Fojnica is a famous thermal resort centre. It is worth to visit Fojnica, among other things, because of its famous Franciscan monastery. The monastery is known for keeping the famous Ahdanama - document which was written and signed by Sultan Mehmed el-Fatih in which he guaranteed the safety of all non Muslims and freedom to choose their religion willingly. Ahdanama is the world first known document of such sort.

While visiting Fojnica we will also visit Prokosko lake on mt. Vranica. Prokosko lake is known by an in dangereoud specie of triton that inhabits it.


 

Medjugorje was until the year of 1981 just a small village. According to the testimony of six young parishioners, virgin Mary appears to them every day, since June 24th 1981.
